Even though I knew it was going to be an insanely HOT summer; it is still hard to accept until you are sitting in the depths of July wondering if we will ever drop from the 100’s to the 90’s. Can anyone relate? Especially as dog owners and dog moms, it is important to help your dog survive the Dallas heat.
There are a number of ways to survive the heat with your pup, and one of our favorites is through indoor activities.
Every dog specialist that we have encountered has recommended mental stimulation in addition to physical stimulation such as dog walks and dog parks. One way to do this is through interactive dog toys which are designed to help keep your dog busy when the weather is not conducive to a long dog walk, help stave off boredom, and provide mental stimulation for their natural curiosity.
In this post, I’ve added 10 dog puzzles that we plan on introducing to Dutch & Dewey during this intense heat wave in Dallas.
