If you love hunting for antique treasures, then you will be fascinated by this hidden-ish gem in Plano which we consider the best antique shop in Plano. Situated off of Plano Parkway and 75 is High Street Antiques of Plano occupying an overwhelming 50,000 sq. ft. mall.
Not only is this HUGE (and fabulous) antique shop filled wall to wall with antique artwork, clothing, furniture, collectibles, home décor, and so much more. It has a vibrancy to it.
That is due to the Chocolate Angels situated in the midst of all the antiques.
I think there is something extra special and inviting about a shop that has a positive buzz running through it. Hearing the chatter of old friends, iced tea glasses clinking and the smell of chocolate brownie pie whizzing by the tables to land in front of someone’s eyes makes this place worth the visit. Every time.
To be honest, since I work from home, when I need a pick me up or an infusion of creativity, I’ll take myself over to High Street to absorb all the good vibes. And I encouage you to head over there to do the same, to enjoy a walk through memory lane in the middle of the week. I promise, you will walk away infused with more creativity and maybe even a treasure to take home.
With more than 270 booths, High Street Antiques is the North Texas collector’s paradise!

How to Prepare for Antiquing in Dallas
A little preparation and intention can help make an enjoyable outing.
- Leave the large purse at home and opt for a hands free/shoulder free belt bag.
- If you are not ready to get onto the belt bag trend, take a small cross body bag, this will help reduce swinging your purse and knocking anything valuable over.
- Read up on antiques to understand pricing and history – this book is a great addition to your library
- Although it’s not Canton, it is still an ideal place for Cute comfortable shoes
When to go to High Street Antiques
This is the best part!
They are open 7 days per week.
Head to their website or social media to confirm hours for that day and also note the tea room hours that differ.

Keep in mind, this place is HUGE which means ONE visit is not enough. Antiques are unique items and you will need to look in every nook and cranny to see it all. Its a bit time consuming but in the most enjoyable way.
