Want to get something to eat hon?
Sure.
What do you want?
I dunno.

I dunno.
I’m thinking something good. Something easy. And something close by.
How about Fish Shack in Plano??
omg. Yes! Why didn’t I think of that?
Be ready in 5, lets do this babe.
And that’s how we end up at this humble, gulf-style seafood restaurant in downtown Plano, more frequently than we’ve been seeing the sun shine over here. The Fish Shack in Plano — what should matter at every seafood restaurant—is fresh fish, prepared simply and honestly.
Fish Shack in Plano
Lucky for us, they have more than the location in downtown Plano.
Plano Location:
700 East 15th Street
Plano, TX 75074
Ph: 469-229-0838
Richardson Location:
1840 N. Plano Rd
Richardson, TX 75081
Ph: 972-238-7106
My absolute favorite and super healthy option is the Santorini Cocktail, stuffed with shrimp and avocado. I grab a large cocktail and am totally full.
Okay, okay. I usually order a side of hush puppies as well.
This restaurant checks all the boxes for us and every time I post a pic on the Facebook page, y’all go nuts. So I’m not alone in my fandom.
Next time you’re wondering what’s for dinner? Head over to this downtown Plano locale (or Richardson) and dive into your own Santorini, or oyster platter or a big ol plate of blackened shrimp, hushpuppies and coleslaw. Wash it down with a refreshing iced tea or draft beer. Hang with good people. And enjoy the heck out of a really good meal. I think this is one of Plano’s best kept secrets. Shhhhh . . . don’t tell anyone. 😉
