Where to get amazing local produce in Collin County
Harvest season brings fresh produce to north Texas but because traffic can be insane, we would prefer to stay as close to home as possible.
Which reminds me to say, these are farms and businesses that we have been customers of with our own intention and money (no business mentioned here sponsored this article.)
If you have been paying attention to global news, there has been a lot of chatter about our supply chain.
What is a supply chain? And why should I be aware of it?
A food supply chain is the people and work force that are needed in order to bring a product to your table.
Shortening your supply chain by purchasing locally has a variety of benefits and if you are new to local produce, just start with one item that you love.
