You’ve just made it through high school football season, survived this thing called Homecoming Mums and came to the realization that you can live off of chips and salsa for days at a time. You are officially moving to Texas to become a Texan.
When someone says Texas what do you imagine? Is it country singer George Strait, endless bowls of queso? Friday night lights? Or maybe its Blue Bell ice cream, floating the Guadalupe and wearing the Texas state all over your body?
Well, it’s all of that and more. Texas is a diverse and dynamic state that draws hundreds of thousands new residents each year.
And maybe you know this because a job brought you here, a fresh start or all the publicity that people got here as fast as possible even if they weren’t born here.
