#8 Take a wine tour in Celina TX
There are 3, yes 3 wineries in Celina (be sure to check their websites for hours and events).
Eden Hill Winery and Vineyard
Carmela Winery
Caudalie Crest
Here is a bit more about each one.
Eden Hill Winery is a boutique family owned winery producing about 2000 cases a year. They have a tasting room and a wine store that is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 1 PM to 6 PM.
Grab a cabernet or a chilled riesling and take a stroll around the vineyard and gardens. Astonishingly, they use rainwater for irrigation and the best news, there are no pesticides used on their produce.
Another thing to note is that the vineyard also features a farm that grows fresh produce, such as fruits and vegetables and eggs from their free-range chickens.
Carmela Winery is located in Downtown Celina. Interestingly, it is housed in a building thatoperated as a blacksmith shop from 1912 to 1971. Even today, you can see the steel pedestal that likely used to be a support for a steam engine.
They have the most quaint tasting room that you will have to go see for yourself.
Caudalie Crest is your third option to visit and just so beautiful. Not only do they offer wine but they have live music on some days and tapas on the menu. Be sure to check their calendar and save the events that you want to attend.
