When I first moved to Plano (in the 90’s), my Dad was working in Richardson, Texas. And at that time we were exposed to some unique places to eat in Richardson. But now there is an explosion of new places of where to eat in Richardson.
Now its the Richardson tech corridor and we find the town, the architecture of the homes and the variety of restaurants to be so intriguing. Richardson is a microcosm of the world and the restaurant options will take you to every corner of the globe.
Where to Eat in Richardson Texas
Long gone are the days where we suburbanites have to head down on the Dallas Parkway or Central Expressway fighting the roads and traffic to find the best spots to eat. Richardson brings us delicious cuisines from around the world.
1. Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill
You have to see inside this 2-story space, so beautiful!
3. Afrah Mediterranean Restaurant and Pastries
This Richardson favorite is an excellent place to find kebabs, hummus, tabbouleh, and falafel, especially during Afrah’s weekday all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. Be sure to finish off the meal with baklava, kanafeh (sweet cheese pastry), or other freshly-baked sweets.
4. Appolonias Italian Kitchen
On some Friday nights, you’ll catch Geno Carlino singing the classic Sinatra tunes. So fun!
6. Casa Milagro
Casa Milagro’s pretty patio is perfect on balmy evenings for enjoying margaritas to the sounds of live Latin jazz.
8. Thai Thumbz
9. Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet
Tour the world in Richardson with your taste buds and have fun!
