As work and clients and life keep me busy, I sometimes fall short on going back to the beginning days of this site to update and fix old articles. Thanks for being so patient with me! As my traffic to this site continues to grow and grow, updating and keeping on top of things is my first priority right now. As a one-woman show, most of the time (unless the husband jumps in), it can be a bit of juggling.

Anyway, many of you think that I live in McKinney since we talk about it so much here and on social, when in fact, I live in Plano with my husband and 2 giant dogs, Miss Bowden and Dutch.

McKinney is a place we adore for nature, festivals, antiquing, breweries and grabbing a delicious bite to eat. We can never go wrong with this special town.

In running this website and online community, this is one of the top cities that my inbox gets flooded with questions about what to do, where to stay, best places to eat, drink coffee and tour. So I am trying to keep this page updated (finally) to direct folks over here to help with their questions. Or tell them why they need to jump on a plane, land at DFW or DAL and take that ride share right up to McKinney.
