Christmas Lights to See on Christmas Eve in Plano

There’s probably nothing more magical than one last trip through all of the sparkling lights on the the Eve of Christmas.

Here are a few spots to add to your list ⤵️

Deerfield Lights are probably the most well known display in all of Plano and Dallas.

The Lights at Legacy kick off with a Plano family tradition, Lights at Legacy offers a holiday movie screening at The Angelika Film Center, photos with Santa, a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas train ride, caricature artists, face painters, balloon artists, toy soldier stilt walkers, little drummer boys, a “rad hatter” station, performances from Cover Down and more! Complimentary food and drink samples from The Shops at Legacy retailers and restaurants will also be available.

Dickens in Downtown Plano

This magical  free event is a tradition in Downtown Plano.

We have been attending off and on since the 90’s. That’s a long time!

This event includes live entertainment, food vendors, a variety of attractions and a visit from Santa, and just an overall wonderful event to stroll thru for the Christmas season. You’ll see occasional strolling carolers in costume and the Interurban Railway Museum opens its doors for some Polar Express fun.

Some businesses will extend their hours so you can do a little bit of shopping or grab a meal.  The new sushi spot is open and is definitely calling my name.

The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. in Haggard Park.
