Meet Carol Zollicoffer of Riot Aesthetics

Carol has just started my own business in a salon suite as an esthetician. Although she has had years of experience working in spas, she wanted to do something different while remaining in the industry doing what I love.

This is her story of Riot Aesthetics

My business name is Riot Aesthetics. I wanted to have fun and still give the best service I can. If the person wants to talk and listen to their own playlist or if they want to zone out I am giving them the option. I am want to break out the norm of cucumber water and granola. We can still be modern and edgy with self care.

 

What’s the one thing that your customers rave about?

They usually rave about my touch and how amazing their skin feels afterward. After a while there is such improvement they just fall in love.

What is the #1 challenge that your clients/customers have when they reach out to you? Basically, why are people coming to your business

They don’t want to have to wear a lot of makeup they want flawless skin

 

Did you always have a sense that you’d start your own business or a project of your own?

No. Not at all. This has been a unforeseen accident that has been great.

 

What does a typical day look like for you?

Take care of my kids check out my appointments talk to my husband about marketing go take care of my clients then back home to do family things.

 

 

My family is what keeps me going. Their support for me is amazing.

 

What is an essential book that you you’ve enjoyed that you think everyone needs to read right away?

Let’s transition to Dallas:

 

I love to go to concerts with my husband we go to a lot of venues. I like to go to the farmers market and the wildflower festival in Richardson.

 

What is your favorite thing in DFW?

I love the lights of down town during the special holidays.

 

Where would you like to have a staycation in the Dallas area?

Paris Texas, it’s so cute.

 

 

I would like to have dinner with my husband at Dakotas Steak House
